We can import/collect your favorite unlocked 2K23 card(s) into 2K23. E.g. Each year, we get a booster with our highest-rated PG, SG, PF, PF, and PF. The card is labeled as”legacy” and is only available to challenges that are legacy because we do not want them having any impact on 2k’s sales or ingame economy. Perhaps over time, those challenges allow us to grind for unlocks of more of our Cheap NBA 2K23 MT cards. We inherit the legacy cards from 2k23 and are able to unlock the old 2K23 cards and perhaps 2K23 when we complete 2k23.

Any thing that allows for that year of grinding and other activities to continue is a great idea. I completely understand the logic that go into it, and I’m perfectly content having those cards limited to an extra challenge a week, and perhaps the training mode or something like that. They are not able to be used for online games. They can’t be used with Domination or other offline modes.

It’s a method to tie your customers in order to keep them playing year after year and to assist them in building a lasting team. This is just a personal example. This is only an example from my personal experience. I’ve quit playing NBA2k for about two years.

Because I hate the idea of the grind being completely lost when a new 2K23 MT game comes out I will buy a 2k game about every two or three years. Give us at least mt/vc (knowing 2k this will never occur) as a reward, or let us use those players in different game modes.
