I remember the original Paladin leveling encounter in classic wow gold , and I wanted to use a class I was familiar with in both versions of this game. Paladins are not the fastest levelers in Classic, but they also have excellent survivability.
They’re also capable of meeting all three of their game’s primary roles (DPS, recovery, tanking) while leveling in both Classic and Retail.
My aim with this series of articles would be to compare the leveling and game encounter between Classic and Retail, without benefiting from any of the additional bonuses Retail players may use to level faster. Retail WoW offers Heirloom equipment — items that increase in level each time that you do.
The total amount of experience you earn also increases. My playthrough doesn’t use these items. I don’t craft gear for my Paladin with a different personality. This means that my buy gold classic wow Retail Paladin won’t level as quickly as a Retail player with alts is very likely today, to level.
My aim, however, isn’t to compare the experience of playing WoW together with tons of alts, but to compare the way the game feels and plays a brand new player experiencing the game for the first time in both variations.
I’ve sought to duplicate my original play-through in all of the particulars I can still recall. My Paladin — Tovah on Classic, Tovahlt on Retail — has used the same zones for leveling and performed through precisely the content. I have
taken the same professions (Blacksmithing, Mining) on both.
