What Is A Student Scientist?
Let’s face it, life can get pretty crazy for those of us pursuing science degrees. Between labs, projects, exams, and extracurricular activities, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of everything.
As a result, many of us student scientists struggle with motivation. Sometimes it is because they feel unqualified to be scientists and sometimes because they feel they can’t really do anything significant until graduate/medical school.
That is where the term student scientist comes in. The term is meant to remind us that we are more than just the scientists of tomorrow. Instead, we understand that we are scientists now and as such we have the potential to do great things even in our youth.
We hope that through this website you will be inspired and motivated by the stories of other student scientists like yourself.
Celebrate. Connect. Engage.
