It’s a bit odd that the offensive coordinator and defensive coach haven’t been a focus on the field for quite a while. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a team of three phenomenal coaches on the same sideline? Apart from that, Franchise Mode has a tendency to hire coaches that are not in any way involved in the league. It would be more pleasant for random people to be offered jobs as coordinators then should they perform well and succeed, elevating them to the level of head coach. At least it would make a little more sense than someone randomly generated taking over a franchise with no experience.

Let Players Create Custom Leagues

One of the most intriguing and fun features of NBA 2K is the ability to make teams from scratch and then create an entire league around it. While there is a feature within Madden that will let players relocate and name an entire team using Franchise Mode, the locations and names are made available to the player. Customization is fun and enjoyable, so why not create an option to create some new soccer leagues? At the very least, provide players the opportunity to organize the NFL itself with new divisions and conferences. EA as well as the NFL need to let players be more creative.
