It’s true that I appreciate the appeal and appreciate that some people like. Though I didn’t have a glimmer of excitement when I played the game, my perception has aion classic kinah changed. Gaming has made me more relaxed, but that’s not what I was trying to do.
You’ve mentioned that you’re at level 34. I think that is a point where you’re not a super dedicated player (or simply don’t have the time to commit, that’s the reason I’m saying) or are you casual. That’s also where I’d classify myself. While I’m not an avid player, I’ve subscribed to the game and play a lot each day. The reason I’m so frustrated is because I know that the players who kill me outgear/outlevel them (if they’re colored purple, more so) as they drive past and then kill me. They’ll camp in areas for hours until they’re destroyed. The content for the endgame is not fully completed. Dredgion hasn’t been released. A good chunk of the players’ primary goal is to become successful by working long hours and dunk on lowbies. This isn’t a new player, but rather an experienced player who is a fan of pvp.
I understand your point of viewpoint. It was somewhat odd to face the purple hues of my 30s less than two weeks away from the day the game was released. You know what? Go out, play in the dirt my man and bask in the sunshine. You don’t have to try to make a difference in life of someone else in the game.
Yet, at a at the same time, I don’t want this to change. This is the atmosphere that brought me to Aion my favorite and why I came back.
An excellent example is GW2. I am a fan of GW2 game play, regardless of what people say about it. After a couple of days I realized that my progress was useless because everything is scaled to a certain degree, and the difficulty never becomes less or more difficult and all players are identical to me. It’s just not working for me.
For me, it feels good to flex the things you’ve worked so hard to achieve. I’m not the type of person who likes to constantly hurt someone who just wants to make it happen, but I have murdered players I know well who are a few levels lower than me. I’m also fond of fighting 1 v x against lesser level players. It’s fun on both sides, IMO. I like the excitement of me and 2 or 3 of my buddies trying to knock down a purple while having a good shot or succeeding or just getting by stomping and saying “Wow that guy is an absolute sassy” and I enjoy running up and wiping down a group and thinking “Fuck it, I’ve put in the work to achieve this”.
I hate when athletes camp in at a lower level for long periods of time. Get a life. That’s just a bunch of shit, and you’re lazy or not cool. A way to kill a group of people, like “Get damaged children, someday you’ll be capable of doing this too” is a different option from “I’m going to ruin this person’s day and cause them to avoid playing”. Though the latter is more harmful than the former, it’s a part of euro aion classic buy kinah having full PvP.
