MyCareer mode has definitively changed the narrative of last year’s game. The players have three options to begin their careers. They could go to college 2K MT, head to the G League, or jump directly into the NBA draft. I chose to go the G League route because I wanted to see if it allowed me to choose between any among the G League franchises. Unfortunately, you get sent G League Ignite by default. G League Ignite team by default.
I’m surprised that they decided for the City to be their main hub for career mode this year, given that negative criticism NBA 2K got from players last year. Perhaps, they couldn’t come up with another concept as a hub for this year and decided to use the City once again.
Fans are able to visit the various stores and purchase clothing for your player. They’ve introduced new clothing companies this season so keep an eye out for their new clothes. Unfortunately, I couldn’t manage to play this game mode due to a bug in the PS5 version, so I can’t be in the middle of a lengthy discussion about the new features in this game mode.
NBA 2K22 is a very well-constructed video game in general and the previous installments have proved to be. I believe PS5 and Xbox Series X owners should 100 percent get the game because of the upgraded graphics and new My Player mode story alone.
If they have an PS4 or Xbox One though, I am not sure I would buy the game this year. The PS4 version appears to have picked up the last year’s game and copied it Cheap NBA 2K22 MT. Then, if you love the game and own an PS4 or Xbox One, by all means, get it, but it appears like they haven’t bothered trying to improve anything for the older consoles.
