Resurrected Jewels from Diablo II
Jewels are a great way to enhance the properties of weapons and armor. There are three kinds: Rare, Unique, or Magic. There aren’t any set gems.
Magic Jewels: You are able to play with as many prefixes and suffixes as you want.
Rare Jewels: Roll using Prefixes of 1-4 or suffixes.
Unique Jewels: Have set properties.
Jewels have specific rules and restrictions.
Magic and Rare Jewels contain the potential to have 1-4 random properties of magic based on their grade. Runes and Gems come with fixed properties.
Unique Jewels are encased in the natural world.
The properties of Magic and Rare Jewels are not affected by the color of the jewel. The color is random, just as the properties.
Every piece of equipment has the ability to have multiple Jewels. Combining Jewels does not give extra properties like creating Runewords.
Jewels cannot be put into the armor of weapons or other items unless they meet an appropriate character level (cLvl). The cLvl of the item that is socketed to match is raised by inserting the Jewel with an increased level. If the item that is socketed is higher than the Jewel the difference doesn’t affect the cLvl.
Before you can claim any benefit, the jewels need to be put into an weapon or armour.
If jewels are removed from gear using the Horadric Cube, they will be destroyed.
In a gold setting jewels appear as Gems.
The Horadric Cube also uses jewels to create its equipment.
Jewels from the farm
A lot of players cultivate Jewels to use in making. Although Jewels are randomly dropped during the game, a typical method of farming jewels is playing the Secret Cow Level. It usually has at least two or three Jewel drops. It can be run at any difficulty level since the quality of Jewels does not have any bearing on crafting.
Rerolling Jewels
Sometimes, you may get an expensive Jewel with poor characteristics. It is typically because of low roll, poor quality Prefixes/Suffixes, or in the instance of rare, not enough. This Horadric Cube recipe can be used to roll any Magic or Rare high-quality Jewels. While the properties you get are not exactly the same as the ones you used prior to the conversion, they may be substantial improvements over the ones you were using. This is the most sought-after conversion for tiny jewels and small charms.
It’s not guaranteed that you’ll receive the same amount of affixes when you roll an Jewel with multiple affixes. It’s not guaranteed that the Jewel that has four affixes will be able to get four when rerolling. It can happen at random.
Resurrected: How to remove Jewels from Diablo II
The next Horadric Cube recipe can be used to eliminate jewels, gems, and runes from socketed equipment. It will permanently damage the sockets in your collection. Be cautious when inserting objects into sockets. It’s not worthwhile to attempt to remove them.
Potential Jewel Magic Prefixes & Suffixes
Properties are randomized however there are certain magical suffixes and prefixes that jewels can use. Only magical jewels can be equipped with a single Prefix and a single Suffix. Rare jewels could contain as many as 4 Prefixes or Suffixes.
Yellow Prefixes and Suffixes can be found on Magic and Rare Jewels.
Blue Prefixes/Suffixes can only be available on Magic Jewels
Magic Jewels will retain the Prefix/Suffix name convention. For instance, “Scarlet Jewel of Truth” (+4 minimum damage, 7 percent faster recovery of hit). Rare Jewels may come up with random names that do not have anything to do with the Prefixes or Suffixes, such as Storm Talisman or Wraith Heart.
Incredibly Magic Jewels are usually one of the strongest properties, and are not as rare as you might think.
The minimum iLvl is the minimum quality level that an Jewel is found that has the Affix property. Jewels can be more expensive than the minimum ILvl, however, they will still have that property.
The minimum level needed to equip a jewel is cLvl. It’s 3/4 of the ILVL.
Unique Jewels: Rainbow Facets
It’s a bit odd that Unique Jewels are all named the same: Rainbow Facet.
There are 8 potential Rainbow Facets. One for each important school (Cold Fire Lightning and Poison).
As you progress through Level-Up Four Rainbow Facets from every magic school cast spells.
If your character passes away, four Rainbow Facets of each magical school cast a specific spell.
If you play Hardcore The Level-Up Rainbow Facet will be more beneficial, unless you want to take revenge on someone else through carrying the same Death Curse.
Every Rainbow Facet is distinctive because it is the only kind of Jewel that is attached to it, which is different from normal Jewels.
