I’m not going to divulge too much away, but we are making lots of OSRS Items cool changes to ensure that no matter the level you decide to build your character, there’s a variety of viable options to fight. Keep an eye out for future Og Blog posts!
Balance and code can be made simpler. RuneScape is a large code base that was developed over the past decade. This makes it difficult for developers. We can now start fresh by establishing a centralised system, so that we can spend less time solving our legacy code and more time creating amazing content for you.
It’s the perfect time for changing the balance of many items that aren’t well represented in the current game (like the increase in benefit of 2h gear through melee/ranged, or restructuring ‘weakening” spells), as well as to rethink any items that we feel are too powerful.
Each piece of gear will now come with tactical options that are associated with it through its stats and NPC weaknesses, as well as the abilities that it has when using it. As I have mentioned before, it is very difficult to add more advanced equipment due to the healing/DPS relationship.
So we are rebalancing all that, offering players the possibility of gaining more life points through using more armor. This will allow us to offer more equipment that is better suited for Buy OSRS Fire Cape our elite players (those who are 90+ and have combat-related skills).
