But it being the first thing that you run into was only rather meh timing.Ulduar was the ideal raid Blizzard ever produced and it had been quickly made irrelevant by the worst raid Blizzard ever made. It’s mind boggling. It felt bizarre to cancel my sub right after having the most enjoyable from the game I have ever needed. Blizzard said they left the Argent tourney raid since Ulduar took too many man hours and dollars (it truly was epic, therefore lots of bosses, so many chambers, almost every fight made nicely )… like, a raid worthy of a multi billion dollar business. The fact that this gigantic company turned around and said, hey, that was too expensive of a raid to us to make, here is something we made from begin to wow classic gold finish in 2 weeks, that was really disrespectful to the participant base and it isn’t any wonder sub numbers went downhill shortly afterwards.
I felt like this raid was the first time this attitude shift at Blizzard was observable.Apparently when you’re earning 150 million USD a month from subs a few developers is”overly pricey”activision started ruining WoW the moment they purchased them.I recall the justification for this not being cost but because ICC was still not completed and rather than 4 or 5 months of ulduar they put collectively an Australian raid to give players something to do while they ended ICC.
Uldir, dragon soul, and also nyalotha would like to have a word with you about worst raid. Also valanyr has been BiS for healers for the rest of the expac.Algalon for this day is cheap classic wow gold still my favorite battle ever. Everything about it, the area, algalons model, the problem of the fight. Holy shit talk about a motherfucking encounter.
Was playing on a laptop back then and Algalon just completely fucked the pc. Needed to be on seat during progession on that one.
